Dr Amita Janda

Amita has been a principal dentist at Sutton Dental Care since 2015.

Amita graduated from Manchester Dental School in 2002. She subsequently gained a Certificate and Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice from the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute UCL. These further qualifications have enabled Amita to treat more challenging cases with a higher degree of precision and successful outcome.

Amita focuses on restoring smiles using high-end treatments. She also offers Clear Aligners and Fixed Braces for both adults and children, and cosmetic dentistry allowing her to provide a complete service to all her patients.

Amita takes great pride in being an approachable and ethical dentist who values the lasting relationships she builds with her patients. Her dental passion is enhancing smiles with a minimalistic approach.

Amita sits on the Fitness to Practice panel at the General Dental Council. Amita also has a role with Denplan as an Excel Clinical Advisor, which requires her to assess other dentists and practices to determine whether the Denplan Excel status can be awarded.

In recognition of her high clinical standards, Amita was selected to become an Educational Supervisor for newly qualified dentists. This role involves overseeing new dentists in general practice, ensuring they are practising to a high standard and helping in their development.

Amita is married to Raj, who is also a principal dentist at Sutton Dental Care. They have 2 children and have been living in Sutton Coldfield since 2006. She enjoys reading, fine wine and travelling.
